How to enter

  1. Purchase a Jacob’s Creek promotional pack with promotional sticker and uncover a unique eight digit code.
  2. You will then need to go to www.jacobscreekaustralia.co.uk and enter this code and submit your name, email address and date of birth to determine if this is a winning code.
  3. Winning codes have been predetermined and randomly distributed under the supervision of PromoVeritas, the independent promotional verification service.
  4. Winners will receive a message saying ‘Congratulations’, followed by details of the prize that they have won and how to claim their prize.

Participation

  1. Open to UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man residents over the age of 18, excluding employees of Pernod Ricard (UK) Ltd or Pernod Ricard, their immediate families and agents. Offer not available in Republic of Ireland or elsewhere.
  2. This promotion is only on promotional packs of Jacob’s Creek Chardonnay, Shiraz Cabernet, Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon Chardonnay, Grenache Shiraz, Merlot, Shiraz, Semillon Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz Rose, Three Vines Red Blend, Three Vines White Blend, Three Vines Rosé Blend, Reserve Chardonnay, and Reserve Shiraz.
  3. Closing date for web entries: 28th March 2009 at 11:59pm GMT.
  4. Northern Ireland Residents over 18 Only: No Purchase Necessary. For the same chance of winning without purchase, send your name, address, email address, phone number and date of birth to Jacob’s Creek Australia NPN, PO Box 101, Leigh, Lancs, WN7 1WQ to arrive no later than 28th March 2009. Only one entry per day per stamped envelope. Only winners will be notified in writing within 28 days. NPN entries from outside of Northern Ireland will be disqualified.

How to claim

  1. Winners must retain their promtional sticker label and bottle as it will be required to validate their prize claim.
  2. Winners of the holiday or hamper will need to send in the whole bottle and promotional sticker label with the unique code and their name and address to validate their claim. Once a winning code has been submitted on the website, we will send winners a special pre-paid postage box in which bottles can be returned for validation.
  3. Winners of the cinema tickets must submit their name and address, and the barcode from the winning Jacob’s Creek bottle.

Prize Details

  1. The prize fund: there are a total of 1,460 prizes to be won:
    • 10 x trips to Australia for two adults (as part of a winners’ tour group) consisting of return economy flights to and from the UK (London airports only), six nights’ accommodation, including one night in Adelaide, one night in the Barossa Valley, two nights on Kangaroo Island, one night in Sydney, transfers and internal flights, a wine tasting at Jacob’s Creek and dinner along with a screening of Australia the movie, a wildlife tour of Kangaroo Island and a Sydney Harbour bridge tour plus £1,000 spending money to cover other meals and costs. Departure is scheduled for a Friday and return flights back to the UK are scheduled for the following Saturday.
    • 200 x a Jacob’s Creek hamper worth approximately £120 (contains alcohol and may contain nuts). This hamper will include a selection of Jacob’s Creek wine.
    • 1,250 x pairs of standard Odeon adult cinema tickets valid for any Odeon, UCI or the filmworks cinema in the UK and Republic of Ireland EXCEPT the following cinemas: Camden, Covent Garden, Kensington, Leicester Square, Leicester Square Mezzanine, Marble Arch, Panton Street, Swiss Cottage, Tottenham Court Road, Wardour Street & West End and valid for nine months from issue date.
  2. Winners of hampers and cinema tickets should allow 28 days from validation of their prize claim for delivery of the prize.
  3. For the avoidance of doubt for the main Australia trip prize, the winner and their guest must hold valid UK Passports and will be responsible for ensuring that they obtain all necessary visas and permissions and medical / travel insurance for the trip.
  4. The trip must be taken on a date (decided by the Promoters) between 1st April 2009 and not later than 1st June 2009 and must be booked through the Promoters and their appointed travel agent.

General Terms & Conditions

  1. There are no cash alternatives to the prizes.
  2. In the event of circumstances outside its reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to provide similar substitutes of equal or greater value.
  3. By entering this promotion, all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions and consent to the transfer of their data to the Promoter for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purpose to which the entrant has consented.
  4. Winners of holidays or hampers will need to validate their prize claim by post as instructed above within 28 days, otherwise they will risk being disqualified.
  5. Proof of identity may be required to claim prizes.
  6. A list of major prize winners and their counties will be available at www.winnersgallery.co.uk from 30th April 2009 until 30th June 2009.
  7. Winners may be required to take part in reasonable publicity.
  8. Regretfully, the Promoter cannot be held liable for system failures or entries that are lost or delayed, although we will always endeavour to minimise the effect on the participant of any such failure. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. No bulk applications from individuals, agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted.
  9. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, or the spirit of the promotion, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, refuse to process a claim. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decision and these will be final and binding.
